The Story behind the name
So if you followed me from my last blog you might wonder why I changed the name. If you are new you might have a case of curiosity, much like I have any time I see a blog name. There is always a story. And this is mine.
When I started writing, I thought "no one is going to take precious time out of their lives to read something I wrote." So it became a personal thing. A way for me to look back on my life that goes by as a blur to myself. I love reading old posts and being instantly transported to that time. And especially when Sawyer's Cranio story was unfolding, and now when the memory is a little hazier, its nice to have those exact feelings preserved in writing.
You might call it a love letter to my future self.
I always dreamed of love letters. I wanted to be that grandma who's great grandchildren find a stack of weathered envelopes wrapped in twine. Full of hope and promise and long ago love. They simply don't exist like the good old days. Maybe one day someone will find this laptop covered in dust and their heart will jump at the possibility of the long lost love stories of a girl finding her way in the world.
And all the entries will end
with love, lissa
